The body is made of a rich, black, and silver cotton velvet brocade, while the collar, sleeves, and waistline are made of royal black cotton velvet. The entire ensemble is decorated with velvet-covered buttons, and the edges are adorned with silver lace. However, the real surprise is found in the period-accurate removable sleeves, turning this garment into a wondrous courtly fencing vest!
