*This gown is somewhat flexible in terms of sizing: it is very acceptable to wear a medieval-style belt with it (hanging down from the hips in a V shape). Also, there is a slight give to the velvet it is made from, so it can stretch between sizes if need be. The following measurements are the approximate unstretched measurements of the garment. Your own measurements for chest, waist, and hips may be smaller or a little larger, and the gown will still fit you depending on how you want it to look (tightly fitted or not):

SMALL: Gown length (shoulder to bottom hem): 58"; shoulder: 13.5"; arm length: 21";chest: 32"; waist: 30"; hips: flared out from 35"

MED: Gown length (shoulder to bottom hem): 58.5"; shoulder: 15"; arm length: 22";chest: 35"; waist: 34"; hips: flared out from 39"

LARGE: Gown length (shoulder to bottom hem): 59"; shoulder: 16"; arm length: 23"; chest: 38"; waist: 37"; hips: flared out from 41"

XL / 1X: Gown length (shoulder to bottom hem): 60"; shoulder: 16.5"; arm length: 23.5"; chest: 41"; waist: 39"; hips: flared out from 44"

2X: Gown length (shoulder to bottom hem): 60"; shoulder: 18"; arm length: 23.5"; chest: 44"; waist: 42"; hips: flared out from 49"

3X: Gown length (shoulder to bottom hem): 61"; shoulder: 18.5"; arm length: 24"; chest: 47"; waist: 45"; hips: flared out from 53"

4X: Gown length (shoulder to bottom hem): 62"; shoulder: 19.5"; arm length: 24"; chest: 51"; waist: 50"; hips: flared out from 59"Â

For international buyers: 1" is equal to 2.54 cm.

Still trying to decide on your size? If you are trying to decide between two sizes, I recommend trying the next smaller size down from what you might ordinarily wear. Why? There is a bit of give in the velvet, and the dresses tend to run slightly larger than an off-the-rack dress of the same size. If you have questions about which size is right for you, please don't hesitate to contact me.
