Wigbold Medieval Pants
Renowned author and theologian Wigbold wrote extensively on Charlemagne's reign in the eighth century. As its namesake did, the Wigbold Medieval Pants preserve history by imitating the clothing of the Vikings of this era. Both in style and purpose, these cotton pants are modeled on the Rus pants the eastern Vikings wore throughout the Middle Ages.
Their thighs are fitted with loose fabric that allows them to move comfortably in a wide range of positions. However, the fabric becomes tighter against the skin below the knees, preventing impingement or slowing the user in an escape fight. These pants are adjustable and snug thanks to the latticework lacing around the sides, which provides a pleasant fit.
