Our Lady Adventurer Dress mixes the styles and materials of the Victorian era to come up with the perfect dress for an intrepid lady out for adventure of an evening. The skirt alone billows to the ankles in three layers. The innermost layer of fiery red satin trimmed with black lace peeks out from beneath an overskirt of black lace. These two layers are topped by a bustle/train contraption of limpid black chiffon held up at the front by two leather-look straps with metal buckles painted to look like brass. The bodice features panels of wine red velvet at the front and sides, and two panels of synthetic leather at the back. The skirt straps seem to wander up the front of the dress to become shoulder straps and the side panels are covered by wide mesh net in black. At the back, our Lady Adventurer dress has sturdy lacing that threads through metal eyelets in brass look. A well camouflaged zip fastener at the side allows you to put this dress on easily – adjust the lacing to fit once and use the zip fastener after that. Steam-powered or not, you'll have a hot time in this dress and can count on lots of forward propulsion. Off to new heights and the center of new adventures!
